How do i get started as an investor with DMAC Capital Funding?

You can get started as an investor with us here.

The entire account creation and investment process is completed online via Marko. You will be prompted to provide or verify any required information, as well as make the necessary acknowledgments electronically.

Am i considered an accredited investor?

An accredited investor, in the context of a natural person, includes anyone who:

  • Has earned an income that exceeded $200,000 (or $300,000 together with a spouse) in each of the prior two years, and reasonably expects the same for the current year, OR.
  • Has a net worth over $1 million, either alone or together with a spouse (excluding the value of the person’s primary residence).

On the income test, the person must satisfy the thresholds for the three years consistently either alone or with a spouse, and cannot, for example, satisfy one year based on individual income and the next two years based on joint income with a spouse. The only exception is if a person is married within this period, in which case the person may satisfy the threshold on the basis of joint income for the years during which the person was married and on the basis of individual income for the other years.

Do i have to be an accredited investor to invest with DMAC Capital Funding?

Yes, you must be an Accredited Investor to invest with DMAC Capital Funding. We will have future funds that will be open to both Accredited and Non-Accredited Investors.

What type of type of account can i invest through?

We currently support personal investment accounts, joint accounts, and certain entity accounts (Trusts, Limited Liability Companies, Limited Partnerships, C Corporations, and S Corporations). For more information on IRA accounts, see below.

Can I invest through my IRA?

Yes, you can invest through your IRA. If you currently have a self-directed IRA, please check with your current custodian to ensure that they will allow you to place your investment with DMAC Capital Funding.

What is a mortgage pool fund?

Our mortgage pool fund is created by building a portfolio of real estate loans, which is owned collectively by the fund’s investors (YOU). Capital raised by the pool is used to fund loans to real estate specialists, who need the money to acquire, renovate and re-sell investable properties. The loans are secured by real estate, generally short-term in nature, and carry higher interest rates than the typical homeowner mortgage.

Can I Add funds after my initial investment?

Yes you can add funds after your initial investment. You can also not take dividends and Distributions and leave that money in and continue invest with us.

Can Invest if I live in another state?

Yes you may invest if you live in another state or another country.

How long is the term of the fund

It was established to last at least 3 years however it is an open ended fund which means we can continue as long as we can and are making our investor money. We Typically work to wrap it up after 5 years and close out all loans by that time. Generally we will have other funds to invest in.

Why is the IRR only 10-12%?

10-12% is our project profits that the fund will make annualized. However, based on our model it tends to be higher than that. Conservatively we have to present what we anticipate.

When should I expect my first Distribution?

Typically within 30 days, if a deal closes and is funded by the end of the month. Depending when you come into the fund plays a major factor as well. If you subscribe in the middle of the Quarter, Your investment will not go into affect until the next quarter. This process will be explained to you upon sign up.

What are the risk involved?

There are risk in every investment. You could lose all over your money. It is our goal to invest in smart assets that produce a predictable and secure return.
